The following people are believed to be pleased with current transfer activity:

  • Ronald Koeman
  • The guy who sold Michael Keane for £30m

In a move that may well double the price of Virgil van Dijk, Michael Keane has signed for Everton for a fee in the region of £30m. No one is quite sure why. Maybe they just really miss Phil Jagielka? They’re also really, really Keane on bringing Wayne Rooney home. In a move to balance out the attractiveness of their front-line they are also reportedly interested in Olivier Giroud.

With Alexandre Lacazette set to be unveiled as an Arsenal player, Wenger has reportedly turned his attention to William Carvalho and Gelson Martin from Sporting Lisbon. It’ll cost him £70m for the pair, or precisely £0 when he decides against it. They’re also after Santi Cazorla-lite, Riyad Mahrez, expect that deal to fall through around mid July only to be picked back up again in the last week in August.

Man Utd are linked with another player, this time it’s mark Marc Bartra. At this rate they’ll be able to play all of their Premier League fixtures on the same day, if they all come off.

West Ham seem set to sign Javier Hernandez for £13m, which is Little Pea-nuts for the Mexican goalscorer.

Rangers have reportedly agreed a £1.5m fee for professional sideways passer, Graham Dorrans. Celtic are keen on Charly Mulgre…Musonda.

Oh, Everton are after Keita Balde from Lazio too!

That’s all for today, as you were.
