The, now ex, Chelsea strikers future has finally been decided. This threatened to be a saga that could have dragged on all summer but it’s Welsh club Swansea City who have finally secured the English wonder kids signature.
The 19 year old scored 23 goals in 40 appearances on loan at Championship club Bristol City last year and has previously worked with Paul Clement, Swansea Manager, at Stamford Bridge. The paperwork for the deal is expected to be finalised later today.
The young striker had previously been linked with a move to newly promoted Newcastle United and Brighton & Hove Albion. However, it was Swansea City that won the battle to sign the goalscorer.
Swansea City will now have to turn their attention towards keeping key trio Fernando Llorente, Alfie Mawson and Gylfi Sigurdsson.
