Man City Get Their Zabeleta Replacement

It’s understood the Manchester City are on the verge of signing, Pablo Zabeleta’s replacement at right back, and it appears it’s Dani Alves. According to the deal could soon become official.

Manchester City have apparently reached a verbal agreement with the Brazilian, and now begins the negotiations for his exit from Juventus.

The agreement between City and Alves is reportedly for a two year deal, which will happen after the contract situation between Alves and Juventus is sorted.

By modern day football standards the rumoured £5 Million transfer is a relatively low price tag, especially for one of the best players of his generation.

The move will see Alves return to play under his former manager Pep Guardiola. Alves won three La Liga’s, two Copa Del Rey’s, three Spanish Super Cup’s, two Champions League title’s, two UEFA Super Cup’s and two FIFA World Club Cup’s under Pep at Barcelona.

City fans will no doubt be hoping Alves can find success under his former coach once again as he looks set for a new chapter of his career at the Etihad.
