Seems a day doesn’t go by without Manchester United being linked with another transfer. Jose Mourinho has seemingly been handed a bottomless purse to improve what some has felt is an underperforming Manchester United team.
The man in question is 23 year old, Nelson Semedo. The youngster has become a regular fixture in the Benfica side making a total of 46 appearances for the club this season. In doing so the right back has drawn attention from Manchester City, Barcelona and has prompted a 30 million pound bid from Manchester United.
In addition, to the interest in Semedo the recent agreement for Victor Lindelof seems to show Mourinho feels his side is lacking defensively. Is he shoring up his defense due to the prospect of losing David De Gea this summer? Will these signings be enough to bring United back to former glory? Mourinho certainly seems to think so.
