Statement of intent from the Italian champions and Champions League finalists that they are close to signing world class Brazilian international Douglas Costa from Bayern Munich. And it could trigger a series of transfers.
The German sides asking price for the winger is said to be around £44 million which Juventus are now willing to meet. The Serie A side are said to have already agreed salary, which is stated to be around £5.3 million. Juventus seem to have a knack for turning unwanted players into top players/helping them rekindle their form such as Bonucci, Alves, Khedira and Patrice Evra.
The German side have signed both Serge Gnabry and Kingsley Coman, meaning it seems that they have deemed Costa to be surplus to requirements.
Juventus signing Costa is set to trigger a series of events that could see Arsenal superstar Alexis Sanchez heading to Bayern Munich and Lyon goal-scoring machine Alexandre Lacazette heading to North London club as his replacement.
