The was rumours circulating that all was not right at Stamford Bridge. Apparently, Antonio Conte was growing increasingly discontent with the way transfer were being handled, or rather, not handled.
L’Equipe claim that Conte was not happy with how the Lukaku situation was currently being handled as the Belgian striker is his number one priority target this transfer window. The Chelsea hierarchy are not willing to meet the £78.6m price Everton have placed on the head of Romelu Lukaku and the Chelsea manager is growing frustrated that he may not have him available by the time pre season kicks off on the 3rd of July.
Reports intensified on Thursday evening that he may be willing to walk away if his demands are not met, with Inter Milan being on high alert.
However this morning he has dismissed all speculation about his future by committing to Chelsea FC.
Eden Hazard seems to have followed suit by stating that he is very happy to remain at the club.
Will this saga drag on through out the summer or this the end of it? We’ll wait and see!
