In recent weeks Celtic have been linked with young talent such as Dominic Solanke and Connor Mahoney. The latter looks set on signing for Notts Forest while the former signed for Liverpool FC. Celtic in recent weeks had been linked with ex-Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva however that seems to have died down. Brendan Rodgers always has his eye out for exciting young talent though!
That brings us onto Harry Wilson, a player believed to be the one of Liverpool’s brightest talents as stated by no other than Liverpool star Adam Lallana. He made his debut for the club back in January against Plymouth and captains the under 23 club scored 28 goals in the process. Jurgen Klopp rates him highly but opportunities may be a lot harder to come by due to their ambitions to challenge for the title.
He’s got all the hallmarks of a great winger – he’s quick, has a ton of tricks and as mentioned before, an eye for goal. Not only that, he is also Wales’ youngest ever player beating Gareth Bales previous record by 108 days.
Liverpool are reluctant to lose him with reports that they rejected Celtic’s initial approach. Harry Wilson could be the next great player developed by Brendan Rodgers if he joins his revolution at Paradise.
